Photo Album: Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
Ho Chi Minh City was one place that took longer for me to settle into. It was a combination of being the first day in a new country (which is always a bit challenging), being sad to leave good friends in Myanmar, the shock of seeing the street worker scene, the oppressive heat, and the lack of social interaction at the hostel I picked.
But within a few days, I started to really like the city. I eventually met other like-minded people. After getting off the main roads, away from the backpacker strip, and exploring the back laneways and local areas, I started to see the appeal. I would love to visit the city again to explore it further, as I think it has a lot to offer.
Here are some of the photos from my time in Ho Chi Minh City (Saigon) in February 2017.
