2 Days in Kanazawa, Japan
Kanazawa is a small city on Japan’s west coast. It’s 500kms from Tokyo, but the Shinkansen (bullet) train took only around 3 hours to get there… AMAZING. On the way, I passed straight through mountain ranges, saw it snow, and watched as I whizzed past villages in seconds.
Kanazawa is known for it’s well-preserved houses and artefacts from the Edo-era, when Samurai and Geisha were the norm. The districts of the Samurai and Geisha were really interesting, and the gardens in Kanazawa were the most beautiful I’ve seen in Japan.
Here are some photos from my 2 days in Kanazawa in April 2017.
