The World is Smaller Than You Think
Such a small world it is. I met an Australian girl, Sarah, in my hostel dorm room a few days ago. We had both just recently arrived in Ho Chi Minh City and started talking about plans for travelling through Vietnam. We had some similar ideas on places to go, so we agreed to travel together to the first town at least.
After all this, we finally got around to the introductions and the usual getting-to-know-you questions like “What did you do for work back home?”, etc, etc. And before long, we realised we had a mutual friend back home.
It’s insane how small this world is, and how we can cross paths with people in such random places.
